TECHNICAL HELP:

VIDEO PLAYBACK

The #1 cause of not being able to play video is that you don't have Flash in your system. It's a free download from Adobe at adobe.com/products/flashplayer. The #2 reason is that you are being blocked by a firewall. Usually this happens at corporate offices. You aren't checking stagebuddy.com out at work now are you? SUBMISSION FORM

GENERAL:
  We are updating the submission form to be much easier within the next couple of weeks! But in the meantime...

HELP FOR EACH LINE:  Help for each line on the form can be seen at the far right of each line, hover your mouse over the (?) Question mark and a help note will pop up!

DATES:  We've updated the input system for adding dates, you can now input one at a time, a range of dates, or ongoing shows!

UPLOADING VIDEO:  We accept all of the same formats as YouTube. Pretty much any video format as long as it is under 100 megs. The larger the file, the longer it will take to upload. Righ now there is no vidual feedback while it uploads, so just be patient. Time depends on YOUR upload speed. Contact help@StageBuddy.com  if you need any further assistance!

LINKING YOUTUBE, MYSPACE AND VIMEO VIDEOS: You can just give us a link to your YouTube or Myspace video. Copy the 'embed' text on the YouTube/Myspace page and paste it into the StageBuddy submission (page two).

UPLOADING PICTURES:   We accept pictures only in JPG, GIF, or PNG format - not PDF, Tiff or others. It will be displayed within a 320x240 box, so although any aspect ratio can be uploaded, you can get maximum impact if you size accordingly. Your "Poster" picture is the lead picture that is displayed throughout the site. If you can't upload a picture, it's size is probably too large. Try uploading a smaller/lower resolution version. This is almost always the problem. Otherwise please email us at: help@StageBuddy.com



UPDATING/FIXING A LISTING:  So you want to go back and update your listing? Easy! Just log in to your account, or if you are already logged in, go to the "My Account" tab at the top of the screen. You will see "Manage Show Listing" and all the shows you have input. To the far right you will see a ways to "Edit" and "Delete" a listing! (See pic below):
